100 Things

Not sure where this blog thing is going to go, but I thought a good place to start would be with a list of 100 things about me.
Here's the first 75, to be continued...

1. My favorite color is green
2. I’m an identical twin and have a younger sister, and a much younger brother
3. I love the beach and one of the most relaxing things I can think of is to sit on the beach in the late afternoon reading a book and watching the sunset
4. I’m a night owl through and through. I always stay up later than I mean to. I’m not grumpy in the morning, I just have no personality.
5. I have a dog named Cassie who’s a black lab mix
6. I have a major sweet tooth, especially for chocolate and lemon desserts!
7. I love to learn and read but am glad I’m not still in school
8. I love to hear people’s stories and see how God works in people’s lives, especially in ways that they didn’t plan on and in times of tragedy/hardship
9. I grew up in Birmingham, AL, but I’ve also lived in Paris, France, Montreal, Canada, and Memphis, TN
10. One thing I learned in Paris is that I LOVE Nutella
11. After living abroad, I learned that no matter how cool the place is, its not that great if you don’t have someone to share it with
12. I’ve always wanted to live out West on a ranch
13. I’ve broken my arm but never had stitches
14. I just finished renovating my house – added a screened porch, some extra closet space and improved the curb appeal
15. It was a ton of work and I’m glad it’s finished, but I loved the process and the finished product!
16. I’ve run one half marathon – Country Music Marathon in Nashville. It was a great experience!
17. I love to read blogs and am a huge blog stalker because I rarely comment!!
18. I’m a good listener
19. I LOVE Alabama football! Roll Tide!
20. I’m 5’3” but people always think I’m taller
21. I love to have my windows down and sing along with the music turned up! It’s therapeutic for me!
22. My parents have a farm in Blount County, AL and have relocated two authentic log cabins there and are in the process of renovating them. I can’t wait for it to be finished!! It’s such a peaceful place!
23. If I could change one thing about myself, it would be that I could sing

28. I have the strangest dreams and always seem to remember them I love all kinds of music except for heavy metal and techno

30. We work for Capstone Development – a company that develops student housing all over the country
31. I’ve been to driving school twice cause I like to drive a little too fast
32. I’m a hopeless romantic
33. I watch the Today Show every morning while I get ready
34. I’m learning how to sew – I think it’s going to be a slow process
35. My favorite piece of clothing is a great pair of jeans
36. I grew up playing sports – softball, basketball, volleyball
37. I’m the type person that definitely needs some alone time every now and then
38. I’ve won two dance contests –one for an African dance in elementary school and one for a swing dance in high school
39. I took French all through high school and most of college. I still can understand some and wish I could speak it better
40. I had two minor wrecks, the only ones I’ve ever had, within 3 weeks of each other at the same stop sign
41. I usually need at least 8 hours of sleep a night to function
42. I have a heart murmur
43. I’d rather fight and get it over with, than avoid it and let it drag on
44. I’ve been snow skiing once in Colorado with a Young Life trip in high school and would love to go again
45. I’m usually laid back and generally Type B

54. I’m still driving the same car that I got in college and plan to drive it until it won’t drive anymore
